With some of words most famous perfumery and cosmetic brands in their product portfolio, including Georgio Armani, Lancôme, Cacharel and Ralph Lauren, Martek was very proud to be selected by L'Oreal as the contractor to assist with the introduction of their latest product range to the UK.

Shu Uemura came to London in the Summer of 2002 with a retail outlet incorporating treatment facilities at 55 Neal Street in London's Covent Garden and a further outlet within the perfumery and cosmetics department of London's most famous quality store - Harvey Nichols in exclusive Knightsbridge.

Both projects presented their own specific challenges, Neal Street for reasons of a particularly tight programme in a very small unit and Harvey Nichols for similar reasons complicated by the fact that the works were being carried out within an operating retail environment.

The fixturing for the product and retail displays were all manufactured at Martek's facility in South London and included lacquered mahogany furnishings, glass and bright steel display systems and Corian finished treatment areas. All of the construction and mechanical services works were included within Martek's scope of works.
