Odeon Swiss Cottage

One of the oldest Cinemas in London has reopened having recently undergone a £3.5 million, three-month refurbishment.

With a fresh and modern concession area, a Costa Coffee, luxury seating, a licensed bar, a new retail menu, “state of the art” screens and technology, the 74-year old Odeon Cinema in Swiss cottage has been completely transformed.

Bringing the first IMAX to North London, and one of only five in London, the giant cinema screen is a soaring 20 meters high and uses special technology to give viewers a total sense of film immersion. The iconic Art Deco Style of the cinema, which originally opened in 1937 still remains, Odeon and the team have worked hard to re-capture the magic of the original design.

Martek were responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of the concession and retail areas, to include the new Costa Coffee, which serves out onto Finchley Road.
