With over 100 Cinemas, ODEON is one of the largest Cinema chains in the UK, and the Gateshead Metrocentre is one of the largest shopping centres in Europe!

Covering a massive 1.8 million sq ft the centre has recently encountered a further redevelopment known as “The Cube”, now home to brand new restaurants, ten pin bowling, rides and a new state or the art multiplex cinema.

ODEON Metrocentere is at the heart of the leisure and entertainment Yellow Mall. It’s the only IMAX in the region with 3D screens, luxury bars and a Costa Coffee, with a total of 17 screens the largest auditorium seats 271 moviegoers!

Martek were responsible for customer facing areas within the cinema including the main concession, box office, Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream counter and a new concept candy wall.
