A brand new multi-million-pound shopping centre has recently opened in Witney. Work on the £50m project started at the beginning of 2008 and includes 143 new homes, 590 free car parking spaces, a Cineworld Cinema, Frankie and Benny’s, Café Rouge and flagship stores; Marks and Spencer and Debenhams.

The five screens of Witney’s new Cineworld Cinema include two 3D screens; all screens use digital projection although 2 screens can facilitate 35mm film also. A new system for purchasing tickets with concession items has been introduced.

Scope of works for Martek involved the design manufacture and installation of all of the customer facing areas; the main concession, Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream counter and pick and mix stores.
