Opened in May 2004, Cineworld Wandsworth, main anchor attraction in the Southside Shopping complex in Wandsworth south London is a deluxe 14 screen multiplex cinema incorporating numerous unique features including VIP boxes at the rear of the main auditoriums.

Originally the foyer and related areas were fitted out by Martek as part of the initial development works, the complex has now undergone a substantial decorative facelift.  As one of the UK exhibition industries strongest brands, Cineworld are looking at a host of new ways to substantially improve upon the customer attendance experience and at Wansworth have introduced a number of colour zones to guide customers into different areas within the complex.

From automated ticketing, through a large variety of retail and catering offers, customers can also relax whilst watching trailer reels of coming attractions and enjoy the ambience of this very modern entertainment complex.

Having worked with Cineworld as part of the development team from the opening of their very first multiplex in Stevenage in 1995, Martek is proud to have continued in this role as Cineworld has expanded to 78 locations in the UK and Ireland and now plays host to the largest number of cinema attendees of any exhibition company in the UK.
