One of the world's largest multi-screen operators, AMC now uses Martek for all of its European concession developments. The project in Barcelona was to fit out the retail areas, which included the concession, box office, and guest services desk.

An 18 screen complex, Diagonal Mar is one of the main attractions for Barcelona's premier shopping complex at the Mediterranean end of the famous Diagonal boulevard.

Designed in conjunction with AMC's project architects and operational team, the concession and box office incorporates a host of service and operational elements which are uniquely AMC. With Avonite solid work tops and a selection of high quality laminates on vertical surfaces integrated with the AMC "bump out" display cases, the final look is one of clean simplicity and operational efficiency.

A year following from the opening of Diagonal Mar, we were asked to design a confectionery store adjacent to the entrance to the cinema complex and with access directly to the mall.
