The head offices of Invesco Perpetual, the investments and fund management company based in Henley, Oxfordshire, presented Martek with a diverse brief to follow for their new staff catering facility.

Working with the main contractor, Higgs and Hill the project comprised the creation of cafe and coffee bar facilities next to a terrace water feature and a main restaurant seating 125 covers.

The finished result replaced the clients out dated staff canteen with a multipurpose servery that provides a more efficient kitchen and preparation area combined with a casual meeting area for staff.

Perpetual are now able to use this space not only for it's primary catering function but also as an environment for meetings and client entertainment.

The restaurant incorporates live cooking, a deli-bar and refrigerated merchandisers, whilst the coffee bar doubles as a reception area for visitors, the introduction of a retail shop, allows staff to buy day to day essentials without leaving site.
