Having completed the design manufacture and installation of 120 nursing stations and reception areas at the new built Pembury Hospital, the first all single room NHS facility in the UK, Martek were asked to carry out the development of the Costa Coffee venue in the main reception area.

Working with Restaurant Design Associates, the Pembury unit is the 15th Costa completed by Martek in the UK and is a popular destination for staff visitors and patients.

This is one of a number of fit-outs, which Martek have carried out for the rapidly expanding and most popular coffee brand.  Martek works with a number of Costa approved interior designers to ensure the brand identity is seamlessly integrated into the overall design of each shop.  Martek has a vast amount of experience in rollouts across multiple sites and delivers the highest quality bespoke joinery to each project.

Costa Coffee is a British coffeehouse company, which was founded in 1971 by Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno. Costa is the largest coffeehouse chain in the United Kingdom and second- largest in the world.
