Based in Slough O2 are one of the UK’s leading providers of mobile communications services. In February 2003, Martek started work on a series of staff restaurant refurbishment projects for the company at 3 different office locations. Each was project managed by Martek and included the complete strip out of all existing catering equipment and the installation of new services & lighting, equipment, purpose built joinery, floors, ceilings and decorations.

All sites were transformed into a self service catering and retail concept to compliment the new and exciting product and menu choices being introduced into the restaurants by appointed caterer Eurest. Martek manufactured and installed new serveries, deli counters, till units, perch counters, grab and go housings, retail gondolas and wall units and at the Bath Road site, banquette seating was incorporated into the restaurant scheme.

A World Marche cooking console supplied by Electrolux was installed at the Bath Rd site to add a touch of theatre. 6 vending areas on 3 floors of the Bath Rd site were also re-furbished by Martek.
