St Pancras Station was seen to be redundant in the 1960’s when several attempts to close the station and demolish the hotel failed thanks to massive protests led by Sir John Betjeman. The grade I listed building, famous for it’s Victorian Architecture has become one of London’s busiest stations and a magnificent landmark for the City.

Over the past three years London and Continental Railways have been working with Manhattan Loft Corporation and Galliford Try to transform the Chambers into a Hotel with a total of 68 luxury private apartments and penthouses.

The regeneration of the Chambers has kept Martek busy on site where they have been responsible for the fit out of 66 apartments with a grand total of 132 bathrooms and en-suites.

With all rooms varying in size every bathroom and shower-room is bespoke, the exposed beams and extraordinary shapes to the building offer a very strong sense of character to each space. Finishes include tiles, Corian, top end sanitaryware/brassware, back sprayed glass and vanity cases.

Following successful completion of the apartments in phases 1&2 Martek are now moving onto the main hotel for the specialist fit out of the key bedroom suites and many of the public areas. The design of the hotel is in-keeping with the building whist complimenting its outstanding original historic beauty.
