The Base – Virgin Atlantic Airways leading edge flight crew training facility occupies 22,000 sq meters of industrial space close to the airport facilities at Gatwick.

Previously a pharmaceutical manufacturing and process facility, the prestigious new training centre incorporates a host of offices, training rooms, an auditorium and an aircraft training rigs hall for cabin and flight crew training. With a steady stream of staff passing through the facility, their welfare is catered for with retail areas, a beauty and hair studio, all day café and full menu restaurant.

Working with the main contractor ISG Interior Exterior, PDP Architects and Ferro Design, Martek developed, manufactured and installed all of the interior fittings to the main restaurant servery and the café area including the provision of all catering equipment and associated services.
